UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE

The Green Network's (formerly TAGER) relationship with the University of North Texas' Professional Development Institute allows the Alliance to provide additional short courses and seminars over the network in a continuing effort to meet the growing needs of the Alliance membership.

The Professional Development Institute is a not-for-profit corporation fully owned by the University of  North Texas.  PDI offers a variety of continuing professional education programs serving many specialized professions and industries:  accounting, auditing, finance, tax, petroleum, law, personal and professional management and health care to name a few.

A variety of programs are now available on videotape and new programs continue to be offered live via the Green Network.  To obtain current information or to order video tapes:

Dr. Farris received his Ph.D . in Business Logistics from Ohio State University.  He has worked in the high tech sector in a variety of logistics and materials management-related positions (including international purchasing, traffic, new logistics development, systems design and analysis, and inventory and production control) for the INTEL Corporation and  IBM (International Business Machines).
