The Alliance for Higher Education welcomes Scott R. Davis, vice president of Brand Strategy for Nortel Networks’ Optical Ethernet (OE), to their Board of Trustees. Mr. Davis is responsible for setting the direction of all marketing and communications initiatives for Nortel’s OE brand strategy. His experience at Nortel includes Director of Sales for the Emerging Service Provider sales organization within the Optical networking business unit, marketing, business development, and global account management in the Enterprise Management Division.

The Alliance Board of Trustees includes members from corporations such as Texas Instruments, the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Board, the Texas Health Research Institute, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Alcatel USA, Parkland Memorial Hospital, Raytheon, Alcon Laboratories, and the North Texas Commission. The Board also includes members from the academic community including Southwestern Adventist University, Texas Christian University, Texas Woman’s University, Tarleton State University, the Dallas County Community College District, and The University of Texas at Dallas and Arlington.
