Supplementing alternative study programs offered by individual member institutions, the Alliance coordinates
three off-campus experiences for its academic members.
n Washington Center - Located in the nation's capital, this program provides seminars and internships with all three branches of the U.S. government as well as experience in for-profit and
not-for-profit organizations.n
College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS) - Through a special agreement with CCIS, Alliance academic members have access to
over 35 study abroad programs in 24 countries. Applications for this program are available for faculty and students through the Alliance. n Visiting Faculty and Administrator Program--
This program allows faculty members and administrators from Alliance member institutions to gain broader experience by working in administrative roles at Washington, D.C. educational associations. The Alliance has negotiated arrangements with AACC, AACU, AASCU, AAU, ACE and NASULGC to develop individual arrangements for temporary administrative roles.
