HOW TO USE THE COURIER SERVICE COURIER SERVICE
The Green Education and Information Network (formerly TAGER) is supported by the Alliance courier. This service runs Monday through Friday between
all company sites and all participating educational institutions and their libraries. This enables students to send and receive assignments, exams, library books, etc. To obtain the maximum benefit from this service
students will need to understand how it works and be aware of the delivery schedule. 1
.Your Site Coordinator (listed in the Telephone Directory
) will inform you of where your courier pick-up/drop-off point is located and where any scheduling updates are posted. Your coordinator will also provide you with courier envelopes and other materials you may need.
2.It is
very important to label the courier envelope with care and to be certain that you have completed the following accurately: 1) individual's name, 2) course/dept., and 3) the correctly abbreviated location code. Use
only Alliance envelopes or labels. 3.Additional Tips: Retain a copy of any important materials (e.g., reports, tests, etc.). Notify recipient of "important items" that are on the way,
designating the actual date materials were sent by the courier. 4.The Alliance for Higher Education and its designated courier can not accept any responsibility for lost materials, exams, videotapes or textbooks. 5.Any questions regarding the Alliance Courier Service
