Alliance
academic members may participate
in a variety of faculty and staff development opportunities. Hosted
throughout the year, Alliance Conferences and Workshops, focus on cooperative activities, new educational programs and open communication and
discussion of current issues. By calling upon local expertise and
that of national conference partners such as the American Council on Education (ACE) the American Association for Higher Education (AAHE), these conferences and workshops bring current thought and best practice to a
convenient local venue. From AAHE’s Teaching, Learning and Technology Roundtable to ACE supported departmental chair workshops, members may choose from an increasing number of topics. And, because they are
