Leonardo de la Garza, Ph.D., Chancellor, Tarrant County Junior College District in Fort Worth has been elected as chair of the Alliance Council of Presidents (COP) and its representative to the Board of Trustees. Dr. de la Garza was also president of Santa Fe Community College and El Paso County Community College District. |

Franklin G. Jenifer, Ph.D., President of the University of Texas at Dallas since 1994 is serving as the newly-elected vice-chair of the Council of Presidents for the Alliance as well as a COP member on the Alliance Board of Trustees. Prior to Dr. Jenifer’s Dallas presidency, he was the President of Howard University in Washington, D.C. |
